Agatha M. "Aggie" Neal, nee Wilson, 81, of Swansea, Ill., born July 21, 1931, in East St. Louis, Ill., died at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Freeburg Care Center, Freeburg, Ill.
Aggie was a service representative with South Western Bell Telephone and was an Avon representative. She was a former member of the Fairview Heights Women's Club, former president of the Resident Council of Amber Court, and a member of St. Augustine of Canterbury Church in Belleville, Ill. Aggie dedicated most of her life to her family as a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by two sons, John Michael Neal and Bruce Edward Neal; her parents, Richard and Agatha, nee Bertram, Wilson; stepfather, Arthur Sims; brother, James Sims; and two sisters, Patricia Ferrenbach and Ruthe McGowan.
Surviving are her children, Dennis (Denise) Neal of Thaxton, Va., Stephen (Stephanie) Neal of Hardin, Ill., Maureen (Peter) Downs of Collinsville, Ill., John L. Neal Jr., of Granite City, Ill., Frederick (Janice) Neal of Granite City, Ill., Lynne (Frank) Rand of Centerville, Ohio and Thomas (Betty) Neal of Kampsville, Ill.; grandchildren, Annette Villacarlos, Chase and Aislyn Neal, Christine, Stephen, and Kimberly Neal, Christopher and Haley Neal, Krystle (Josh) Huelsmann, Frederick and Richard Neal, Lindsay (Lance) Wagner and Caroline Rand; a great-grandson, Honest Villacarlos; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013, at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Caseyville, Ill., with Father Ray Schultz officiating. Burial will be in Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Fairview Heights, Ill.
