Alexander L. Lance, 91, of Glen Carbon, Illinois, passed away on September 27, 2021, at Morningside of Troy.

Alexander was born February 15, 1930, in Glen Carbon, Illinois, to Robert and Janet (Ferris) Lance.

He served his Country in the United States Army, and was a member of the Edwardsville Masonic Lodge #99.  He enjoyed playing golf, trap shooting, watching football and riding motorcycles. He kept very active and not only enjoyed life, but lived it.

He was preceded in death by his wife,  Barbara Lance, and sister, Alice (Lance) Murray.

Survivors include his daughter, Brenda (Jim) Feaman of Edwardsville, Illinois; son, Rand (Sheri) Lance of Bradenton, Florida; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.

A private family funeral service is scheduled and burial will follow at Glen Carbon Cemetery under the direction of Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Glen Carbon, Illinois.
