Alfred Pilon Kaminski, 91, of Edwardsville, Illinois, born September 8, 1933, died November 17, 2024.  Alfred retired at age 62 after a long career in the textile manufacturing industry.

His greatest joy was spending time with family, especially his granddaughters.  He loved science and astronomy, reading, music, model building, and sketching.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Edith (2005), parents Andrew and Agnes Kaminski, brother Lou Kaminski, sisters Lynn West and Sr. Doreen.

Surviving is a sister Bernadette Adams, son Glen (Kimberly) Kaminski, daughter Sandy (Timothy) Burgess, and granddaughters Dana (Jim) Foster, Ashley (Parker) Marchbanks, Jenna Kaminski, and  Amy Burgess.

The memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Drive, Glen Carbon, Illinois.
