Alice J. Sutton, 80, of Granite City, Illinois passed away peacefully on November 3, 2023 at her residence. She was born to Frank and Arline (Shepard) Noah on July 11, 1943 in St. Louis, Missouri. She married Robert Sutton on June 2, 1962. They enjoyed many years together before his passing in 2022.

Alice was a dedicated homemaker who was a beloved wife and loving mother. In later years, she was a devoted grandmother who truly enjoyed time with her family. She also enjoyed playing games, shopping, and traveling. She was a talented decorator, with a keen eye for detail, and delighted in hosting theme parties.

Those left to cherish Alice's memory are her son Scott Sutton and his girlfriend Jennifer Anderson, daughter Dana Dake and her husband Mike Dake. She was a proud grandmother to Stephanie Townsend, Nicole (Bryan) Towery, Sean Sutton, Courtney (Ryan) Roberts, a proud great-grandmother to Vera, Hailey, Bryan, Jameson, Autumn, and Dean, her siblings Arline Clark, Florence Tipler, Nina Noah, and Judy Noah, along with many more extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Allen Noah and her husband, Robert Sutton. Alice will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Services will be held at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Dr, Glen Carbon, Illinois with visitation Wednesday, November 15, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 11:00 a.m., with the burial to follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
