Allen L. "Pop" Trowbridge Sr., 78, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away on August 28, 2021 at his home.

Allen was born December 12, 1942, to Merle and Jaunita Trowbridge.  He married Sylvia Magnetti on May 19, 1962, and have shared 59 year together.

Allen served in the United States Air Force from 1959-1963.

Pop loved the outdoors and anything that would get him out there.  His passion was flowers, gardening, hunting and fishing.  He enjoyed his outings.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 sisters; and a brother.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Trowbridge; son, Allen L. Trowbridge Jr. and wife Kelly; daughter, Natalie Fernandez and husband Robert; grandchildren:  Alec, Meghan, Bobbi, Austin, Rob, and Allison; 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Luella Knight; brother-in-laws:  John Kasino, Leo Lorenzoni, and Mike DeLaney.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Illinois. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor David Amsden officiating.  Burial will follow at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Cemetery, Collinsville, Illinois.
