Alma Lorene Montgomery, 84, of Collinsville, IL, born January 3, 1936, in Coulterville, IL to the late Charles Benjamin and Ida Isabel (nee Miller) Brown, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2020, in Belleville, IL.

In addition to her parents, Alma is preceded in death by her loving husband, Arlis Montgomery; son, Eugene Montgomery; brothers, Lloyd Brown; Robert Brown; and sister, Edna Lindsey.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Charlie Montgomery; daughters, Carolyn (Stu) Quevreaux; Dana (Bobby) Butcher; grandchildren, Doug (Erica) Quevreaux; Amy (Joe) Gipson; Jessica (Cody) McCarthy; great-grandchildren, Valorie; Brad; JT; Bella; Cayden; Caylee; sister, Betty Rose; sisters-in-law, Maxine Montgomery; Janet Brown; dog, Bozo; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

Visitation: Friends may gather with the family from 11 to 1 pm, Friday, January 17, 2020, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.

Funeral: The funeral service will be held at 1 pm, Friday, January 17, 2020, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, IL.

Alma will be laid to rest at St. John's Cemetery, Collinsville, IL immediately following the service.
