PONTOON BEACH, IL- Andrea Lauren Minney, 32, of Pontoon  Beach, IL, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2018 at Collinsville Care Center.

Andrea was born October 23, 1985 in St. Louis, MO to Wallace and Lisa (Holst) Minney. They survive and reside in Pontoon Beach, IL.

Also surviving are her siblings, Erica Minney of Collinsville, IL, Josh (Megan) Minney of Grant Fork, IL, Jacob Minney of Pontoon Beach, IL, and Caleb Minney of Pontoon Beach, IL; nieces and nephews, Alexis & Ethan Norsic and Carter & Adeline Minney.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Frank and Nancy Holst and paternal grandparents, Wallace and Ruth Minney.

Andrea was a graduate of Highland High School. She worked as a CNA at Liberty Village in Maryville, Highland Healthcare, Heritage Manor in Glen Carbon and Alhambra Care Center. She was also a former member of New Douglas Baptist Church. She loved all animals and especially her own sweet dachshund, Lucy. Andrea will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

VISITATION: A visitation for Andrea will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 1:00 P.M. 3:00 P.M. at Sunset Hill Funeral Home in Glen Carbon, IL.

FUNERAL: A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, at 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Cremation rites will be accorded following services.
