Angela Marie Herrin (Meink), age 40, walked her path to eternal peace in St. Louis, MO on August 23, 2023 with family by her side.

She is survived by her daughter Olivia Herrin, step daughter Hannah Hammon, mother Christina Webb, step father Steve Webb, father Dane Meink, step-mother Susie Meink, sister Challin Baro, and step brothers Ryan Webb, Trey Baugher, and Carson Baugher.

Olivia was Angela's entire world. Angie loved her so deeply, powerfully, and with her entire heart. There was an unbreakable bond that will live on forever between Angela and Olivia.

For those who knew Angela, it was clear that she had an enormous heart and would do anything for anyone - from taking in stray animals, to giving a candy bar to a little kid, and making extra dinner for a neighbor. She even gave her baby sister a home where she could finish high school when she decided to hold firm to her values and move out before her senior year. Her sister believes that that selfless act of kindness created a ripple effect in her life that led her to a successful career and beautiful family of her own. She is forever in Angela's debt (even though Angie wouldn't accept any acknowledgement!)

Angela was the first to tell her family how proud she was of them when they did something well - a test well done, a new job, a great first day of school, or just a nice apology letter. Her heart was pure and all she wanted was for others to be happy. Now, from her shining place in heaven with her favorite pup Brutus, her step-daughter Caylee Bug, her Grandma Helga and her Grandma Joyce and others, Angie will guide her friends and family in living their fullest most genuine lives, overflowing with selfless acts, beaming with pride in their loved ones, and hope for a brighter future for everyone they touch.

Visitation for Angela will be held at Sunset Hill Funeral Home at 50 Fountain Dr. Glen Carbon, IL. 62034 on Friday, September 1,2023 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm.
