CASEYVILLE- Ann A. Ford, 97, of Caseyville, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Caseyville Nursing and Rehabilitation in Caseyville.
Ann was born on December 8, 1919 in East St. Louis, IL to John and Mary (Beallak) Romanic. She married Walter G. Ford Sr. on November 25, 1940 in Union, MO. He preceded her in death on March 22, 1992.
She was also preceded in death by her grandsons, Jeff Staley and D.J. Frieben.
She is survived by her four children, Joyce (Don) Staley of Caseyville, IL, Janice Barbour of Collinsville, IL, Walter "Bebop" G. Jr. (Vicki) Ford of Mexia, TX, and Jackie (Ronnie) Kimberlin of Mt. Vernon, IL; grandchildren, Jeri Lynn Staley, Chris Barbour, Erica Brown, Lora Brown, Ryan Frieben and Samantha Zerda; great-grandchildren, Rachel, Jacob, Jackson and Arabelle; and great-great-granddaughter, Aubree; and several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Ann loved her family and the time she could spend with them. Visits with her dear friends and family brought her the most joy. She will be missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Caseyville Fire Department Auxiliary or Alzheimer''s Association. Additional condolences may also be sent to the family through this online guestbook.
SERVICE: Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville is assisting the family with arrangements. Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be an inurnment service at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Belleville, IL on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 10:00 A.M.
