Arlene R. Besse, nee Sebastian, 77, of Collinsville, Ill., born Wed., Jan. 13, 1937, in Cahokia, Ill., died Sunday, June 1, 2014, at her residence.

Arlene was a devoted wife and mother, and was a super grandma and great-grandma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ruth, nee Killion, Sebastian Sr.; and a brother, Albert Sebastian Jr.

Surviving are her husband, Dale Besse; two sons, Richard D. (Kathleen) Besse of Troy, Ill., and Ronald A. (Haifa) Besse of Troy, Ill.; twin sister, Irene (John) Bell of Collinsville, Ill.; five grandchildren, Megan, Ryan, Alex, Leyana and Adam; a great-grandchild, Layla; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014, at the funeral home with Rev. Fred Kraemer officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
