Barbara "Bobbi" J. Wallace-Jobson, 80, of Glen Carbon, Illinois, passed away on
September 13, 2021, at Stillwater Senior Living.
Bobbi Baseden was born August 22, 1941, in Granite City, Illinois, to Ivan
Charles and Kathryn Loretta (Molique) Baseden.
Bobbi was an independent spirit, a multiple cancer survivor, and successful
businesswoman. She found her professional calling in 1976 in real estate where
she exelled, achieving a Lifetime Diamond award for sales. She was a member
of the Edwardsville Rotary Club, and a member of Eden UCC Church for many
years. But above all, her greatest role was as a doting grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, William R. Jobson III of Glen Carbon, Illinois;
sons: Richard L. Hillman, Jr. of Glen Carbon, Illinois, and Matthew T. Hillman of
Kansas City, Missouri; and grandchildren: Tricia, Jessica and Ryan. Bobbi was
was preceded in death by her siblings: Lorin Gentry, Elvin Gentry, and Evelyn
(Donley) Glozik.
Cremation has been accorded by Sunset Hill Funeral Home & Cremation
Services of Glen Carbon, Illinois.
Private family inurnment will take place at Sunset Hill Cemetery, Glen Carbon,
Illinois. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the
Alzheimer's Association.
