Barbara D. (Bobbie) Lehares, 89, passed away peacefully at home on September 22, 2020.

Born January 9, 1931, in Macedonia, Iowa, Bobbie attended Mattoon High School in Mattoon, IL. She married Constantino (Dino) Lehares in 1947.  They lived in Mattoon and Decatur, IL before settling in Caseyville in 1963.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Dino, and parents, Cecil and Jewel (Noel) Sell.

She is survived by children, James Lehares of Warsaw, MO, Dena Spagna of Naples, Florida, William Lehares of Caseyville, IL, Victoria Lehares of Collinsville, IL, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, her sister Nancy L. Taylor of Dillsburg, PA, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her beloved Scottie, Lucy.

Bobbie found her soul mate in Dino. They traveled around the country, worked on countless projects together, and enjoyed their "golden years".  She was an amazing mom and grandma. She had a lifelong love of Scottish Terriers. Her door was always open and she had many "adopted" kids who thought of her as their mom and grandma. She will be remembered with love and missed immensely.
