Barbara A. Lutz, 87, of Caseyville, IL, passed away peacefully on October 7th, 2026, at La Bella of Freeburg in Freeburg, IL. 

Barbara was born in East St. Louis, IL, on August 30th, 1939, to parents, Otto McNeill and Ernestine "Dean" McNeill nee Blackman. She married Clifford Lutz early in life, and they remained together until his passing on March 8th, 2004. During Barbara and Clifford's time together they enjoyed traveling, especially taking small weekend trips, as well as trying their luck with some gambling. She worked as an office clerk for K-Mart for 49 years. In her later years, she enjoyed sitting on her front porch, playing games on her phone, or sitting and enjoying a Lifetime or Hallmark Channel Original Movie. She will be missed by all that knew her. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Otto and Dean McNeill; husband, Clifford Lutz, Sr.; children, Felecia "Sissy" Amos and Clifford "Bubby" Lutz, Jr.; as well as three of her siblings. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Penny (Josh) Linderer; brother, Ronald (Brenda) McNeill; grandchildren, Jessica (Jason) Erickson, Jennifer (Jason) Sanders, Brian Amos, and Geri (Roscoe Downey) Amos; and great grandchildren, Beau Erickson, Easton Sanders, Lyla Sanders, and Hailey Downey. 

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for memorial donations to be made out to Randy's Rescue Ranch , 1400 E. Highway 50, O'Fallon, IL, 62269 - An organization that was very near and dear to Barbara's heart.
