MADISON, IL- Barbara Ellen Radcliff, 80, of Harrisburg, IL, formerly of Madison, IL, passed away on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN.
Barbara was born October 14, 1938 in Grandin, MO to Lloyd and Lottie (Roam) Reeves. She married Edward Radcliff on March 6, 1955 in Poplar Bluff, MO. He preceded her in death on June 25, 2014.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, infant brother, Lloyd Leo and brother-in-law, Dwight Freeze.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Cathy (Kevin) Werner of Harrisburg, IL and Cynthia (Ralph) Miller of Madison, IL; four grandsons, Kevin Scott (Nicole) Werner of West Frankfort, IL, Jeffrey Edward (Ashley Roseman) Werner of Florence, OR, Christopher Thomas Miller of Madison, IL and Michael Edward (Felicia Forehand) Miller of Madison, IL; great-grandsons, Drew, Cameron and Michael; siblings, OraMae Freeze of Grandin, MO, Janice (Randy) Spencer of Doniphan, MO, Nancy (Eddie) McKinney of Doniphan, MO and Jerry (Kathy) Reeves of Gatewood, MO; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Barbara worked as a homemaker, devoted to her loving family. She also worked as a beautician out of her home. For a few years, she was a cook at the middle school in Madison, IL. Barbara loved to cook and tend to her flower and vegetable gardens. Her love for her family was immeasurable, especially her dearest grandsons and great-grandsons. Her loving heart and kindness will always be remembered.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, American Heart Association or to a charity of the donor's choice. Additional condolences may be sent to the family through this online guestbook.
VISITATION: A visitation for Barbara will be held on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 11:00 A.M.- 1:00 P.M. at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Drive, Glen Carbon, IL 62034
SERIVCE: A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation, at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Pastor Doug Pascoe will officiate. Interment will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.
