B. Kenneth Snider, 89, of Granite City, Ill., born on Jan. 5, 1924, in Alton, Ill., died at 5:43 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at his residence.

Mr. Snider had retired from McDonnel Douglas. He was a meber of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and Knights of Columbus. He was also the manager of the Pontoon Beach water district for many years.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his father, Willie Basil Snider; mother, Bernice, nee Dillon, Snider; son, Greg Snider; granddaughter, Candi Lynn Snider; and three brothers, Eldon, Howard and Leslie Snider.

Surviving are his wife, Betty, nee Sako, Snider, whom he married on March 24, 1956; daughters, Sharon (Joseph) Wright of Moro, Ill., Jean (John) Nemeth of Granite City, Ill., Denise (Dennis) Wilson of Worden, Ill., and Tina (Randy) Paschedag of Granite City, Ill.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
