GRANITE CITY- Bernadine F. Hagnauer, 90, of Granite City, IL, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 in Granite City, IL.

She was born on October 5, 1928 in Madison, IL to John and Eulah (Rose) Ingrham. She married Nelson Hagnauer Sr. in 1950; he preceded her in death in 1996.

Bernadine was also preceded in death by her siblings, John Ingrham, Eunice Porter and Nelda Reed.

She is survived by her children, Carol Sue Nowell (husband, Ron) in Livingston, IL and Nelson Hagnauer Jr. of Granite City, IL; five grandchildren, Jayme Hanley (husband, Mat), Molly, Anna, Betsy and Christopher Hagnauer; and one brother, Gary Ingrham of Granite City, IL.

Bernadine worked as a case worker for Granite City Township for 40 years, before her retirement.

A private family visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 9:00 A.M.- 11:00 A.M. at Sunset Hill Funeral Home in Glen Carbon, IL. A private, family service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens.
