BRIGHTON- Beth Ann Lawson, 56, of Brighton, IL, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at her residence.

Beth was born January 8, 1962 in Belleville, IL. She is survived by her parents, Charles L. Harper (Vivi) and Kay Long (Richard Meyer).

Also surviving are her daughters, Jayme Freeman of  Granite City, IL and Cassidy Freeman (Jeffrey Johnson) of Collinsville, IL; grandchildren, Alexis Hart, Nikko Ronin and Daniel Ryterski; siblings, Eric Harper(Margie), Gant Harper, Gay Lynn Harper, Amy Garrett, Bob Long (Brenda), Susan Chapman, Bruce Long (Kathy), Mitchell Harper, Hope Harper Smith (Stephen), and Carolyn White; her dear friend, Rhonda Whitworth.

Beth worked as an advocate for developmentally disabled adults for 30 years. She loved her grandchildren dearly and treasured the time she was able to spend with each of them. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

VISITATION: A visitation for Beth will be held on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 P.M. at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Drive, Glen Carbon, IL 62034.

FUNERAL: A funeral will be held immediately following the visitation, at 12:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens in Glen Carbon, IL.
