Obituary

Betty Lou Boston, 95, of Belleville, Illinois, passed away on Tuesday, April 4th, 2023 at Memorial Hospital of Belleville.

Betty was born on August 30th, 1927 in Granite City, Illinois, to the late Charles H Marcus and Estelle L (Wallace) Marcus.

She married her beloved late husband, George A Boston, on June 15th, 1946 in Granite City, Illinois.

She was a devoted homemaker and cared for her family deeply. Betty attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses where she enjoyed spending time with her church family and friends. Betty also loved watching detective shows, game shows, and listening to 70's country music.

She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Anne Keck; her grandchildren, John (Carrie) Keck, Lori (Scott) Lambeth, Nicole (Mike) Jacobs, and Celeste Lindsey. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Kyle Phillips, Hilary (Jeremy) ,Dugan Sebastian (Abby) Keck, Madeleine Keck, Gavin Keck, Grace Keck, Anna Carey, Alannah Skye Lindsey, and Izy DesVeaux; and great great grandchildren Theo Phillips and Thalia Phillips.

Betty is preceded in death by her son, George David Boston, her husband, George A Boston, and her brother Charles Robert (Bob) Marcus, and her great grandson, Zachary Phillips.

A memorial service will be at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3825 Blackburn Road, Edwardsville, IL, on Friday, April 21, at 2:00pm.
