Betty Fae Forehand, 93, of New Douglas, IL, passed away on October 23rd, 2026. Betty was born on August 30th, 1933, in Granite City, IL, to parents, Hubert and Grace Dixon. 

She loved playing bingo with her sister and tending to her garden, especially her beloved roses. Described as a literal Angel here on Earth, she will be deeply missed by her family.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Grace Dixon; husband, Isaiah Forehand; and her siblings, Andrew Forehand, Debbie Tucker, Cindy Long, and Ronald Forehand. 

She is survived by her children, Belinda Horton, Isaiah (Grace) Forehand, John (Diana) Forehand, Lola (David) Burrus, Elizabeth (Woody) Handshoe, Matthew (Mary) Forehand, Jeanette Allen, David Forehand, Sheila (James) Howard, and Timothy Forehand; as well as abundance of over 100 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

A public visitation will be held at Sunset Hill Funeral Home on Friday, October 30th, 2026, beginning at 11 AM until the time of service at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow the service at the Sunset Hill Memorial Estate.
