COLLINSVILLE- Betty J. Heller, 80, of Collinsville, IL, passed away on Monday, June 4, 2018 at Liberty Village in Maryville, IL.

Betty was born on October 17, 1937 in St. Louis, MO to Alex and Josephine (Mueller) Reszely. She married Robert Heller on August 31, 1963; he preceded her in death on September 5, 2005.

She was also preceded in death by her parents and her son, Michael Heller of Collinsville, IL.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Laura Heller (Daniel Horowitz) of Collinsville, IL and her beloved grandson & breakfast buddy, Jackson Robert Heller.

Betty worked as a nurse anesthetist for 34 years with Gonzales, Randall and Gusman Anesthesia Group. She was a member of Mother of Perpetual Help in Maryville, IL and the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary in Collinsville, IL.

VISITATION: A visitation for Betty will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, IL.

Private interment will be at a later date at Calvary Cemetery in Glen Carbon, IL.
