Betty Kitsch

Betty Lou Kitsch, 84, of Collinsville, Ill., born Sept. 30, 1931, in St. Louis, Mo., passed away Sunday, Sept. 18, 2016, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.

Betty was a faithful member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Collinsville. She enjoyed dancing, traveling and playing bingo.

Betty was preceded by her husband, Eugene; parents, Dominick and Edna, nee Jones, Nigra; a brother, Donald; a brother, John, at infancy.

Surviving are her children, Michael (Sharon) Kitsch of Henderson, Nev., Steven (Christine) Kitsch of Collinsville, Ill., Christine Call of Collinsville, Ill., and Kathleen (David) Chumley of Belleville, Ill.; grandchildren, Andrew, David, Matthew, Corey, Rindy and Gregory; two great-grandchildren, Hayden Honeycutt and Azriel Fisk; a sister, Dolores (Herbert) Dunbar; and a nephew, Tommy Haig of Collinsville, Ill.

Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be conducted immediately following the visitation, at 7 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 21, 2016, at Herr Funeral Home with Rev. Kyle Wright officiating. Interment to be private.
