Betty L. Barcliff, 85, formerly of Caseyville, Illinois passed away Saturday, May 14th, 2016. She was born Saturday, December 6th, 1930 in Flat River, Missouri to Harry and Grace (Bloom) Tongay.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Alfred Guy Barcliff, and brothers; Paul Tongay, Harry Tillman Tongay and Edmond Tongay.

Betty is survived by daughters; Linda (Michial) Koenig of Caseyville, Illinois and Joyce Barcliff of Caseyville, Illinois, sisters; Charlotte Tongay of Collinsville, Illinois, Mildred Crook of Cuba, Missouri and Sharon Meyer of Collinsville, Illinois. She is further survived by grandchildren; Shelly Knight, Brian Wasser and Chris Doughty and seven great-grandchildren.

Betty had worked for 14 years at Bussman Fuse in Ellisville, Missouri and she was also a home maker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Collinsville, Illinois.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 21st, 2016 at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, with Funeral at the funeral home at Noon. Interment will follow in St. John''s Cemetery, Collinsville.
