Beulah L. Whitson, nee Macke, 85, of O'Fallon, Ill., formerly of Collinsville, Ill., born July 8, 1926, in DuQuoin, Ill., died at 5 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, at Relais Bonne Eau, Edwardsville, Ill.



Mrs. Whitson was a member of the First Baptist Church in Maryville, Ill.



Beulah was preceded in death by her husband, Harry H. Whitson; father, Jacob Franklin Macke; and mother, Susan, nee Waltz, Macke; and brothers and sisters, Mary E., Carl A., Elsie M., Helen L., Lowell, Pearl B., Earl B., Roy A., and Edna J.



Surviving are her sons and daughter, Jimmy (Joelle) Whitson of O'Fallon, Ill., Jackie (Lynda) Whitson of Staunton, Ill., Sharon (Tom) Tipton of Trenton, Ill., and Harold (Julia) Whitson of St. Louis, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, at the funeral home with Dr. Tom Hufty officiating. Interment in Swanwick Bethel Cemetery in Coulterville, Ill.
