Beverly Ruth Foote, nee Lenz, 81, of Granite City, Ill., born Thursday, Oct. 26, 1933, in Rockford, Ill., passed away at 4:21 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Relais Bonne Eau Hospice Home in Edwardsville, Ill.

For several years Beverly was the principal at the St. Elizabeth Catholic School in Granite City. She was also a member of the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and a volunteer in the gift shop at Gateway Regional Hospital in Granite City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Garth Foote, whom she married on Aug. 17, 1957; and her parents, Rollin and Marie, nee Cunningham, Lenz.

Surviving are three daughters and a son, Karla (Richard) Smith of Granite City, Ill., Rebecca (Kevin) Havener of Hendersonville, N.C., Missy (Paul) Thomas of Boise, Idaho and Kenneth (Shelley) Foote of Granite City, Ill.; two brothers and a sister, Bob (Pat) Lenz of Springfield, Ill., Kathy Lenz of Granite City, Ill., and Tom (Karren) Lenz of Marion, Ill.; and five grandchildren, Zachary Foote, Kelly Jo Havener, Maddi Havener and Arlo and Noah Thomas.
