Beverly Mae Hesse, nee Schuchmann, 83, of Collinsville, Ill., born July 30, 1930, in St. Louis, Mo., died Friday, April 25, 2014, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.

Mrs. Hesse enjoyed flea markets, but her true passion was training and showing AKC champion Great Danes and Dalmatians.

She was preceded in death by a son, Douglas Hesse; her parents, Byron and Katie Rose, nee Beuer, Schuchmann; and a brother, Byron "Bud" Schuchmann.

Surviving are her husband, Alvin E. Hesse, whom she married March 31, 1951; her son, Craig Hesse of Collinsville, Ill.
