COLLINSVILLE- Bill L. Krietemeyer, 80, of Collinsville, IL passed away on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.

Bill was born on April 17, 1937 in Troy, IL to Victor and Leona Howard Krietemeyer. He married Jo Ann Webb on June 17, 1966 in Troy, IL. She survives and resides in Collinsville, IL.

Also surviving is his brother, Danny (Julie Ann) Krietemeyer of Collinsville, IL; brother-in-law, sister-in-law, niece & nephew; and a special thank you to our dear friend and neighbor, Beverly Hensley, for the kindness she has showed us.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his niece, Connie.

Bill loved all dogs. He and Jo Ann brought many dogs into their home to love and care for over the years. He also enjoyed his time in the garden, whether it was in the flower garden or with his vegetable plants. Bill will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stray Rescue of Saint Louis. Additional condolences may be sent to the family through this online guestbook.

VISITATION: A visitation for Bill will be held on Monday, April 9, 2018 from 11:00 A.M.- 1:00 P.M. at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, IL.

FUNERAL: A funeral service will be held following the visitation, at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Pastor Dennis Kastens will officiate.  Interment will follow at Lake View Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, IL.
