Billy E. Taylor, 66, of Granite City, Ill., born Sunday, April 25, 1948, in Granite City, Ill., died Sunday, November 23, 2014, at his residence.

He was a United States Army Veteran. Billy enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edward and Nettie K., nee Nowak, Taylor; a brother, Frank Wilkins; and a sister, Judy Taylor.

Surviving are a son, Brian (Tracy) Taylor; three brothers, Robert Taylor of Alton, Ill., Chuck Taylor of E. Carondelet, Ill., and Darrel Taylor of E. Carondelet, Ill.; three sisters, Lynn Sickmeier of Dupo, Ill., Patricia Taylor of Dupo, Ill., and Kay (Mick) Kenner of Dupo, Ill.; and four grandchildren, Brendan, Reese, Braeden, and Bryce.
