Blanche H. Althardt, nee Huber, of Collinsville, Ill., beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at home with her loving family by her side. She was born Jan. 12, 1925, in Highland, Ill.
Mrs. Althardt was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Collinsville, Ill., and worked at the Martha Manning Dress Factory. She was a loving homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family doing many activities such as crafts, quilting and painting. Along with William, the family traveled extensively enjoying their many trips to Minnesota.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years William H. Althardt, whom she married on Oct. 25, 1941, in St. Louis, Mo.; her parents, Edward Huber and Elsa Welle, nee Dresch, and her stepfather, Beans Welle; her sisters, Harriett Koonce, Alice Yanousek and Hazel Huber.
Surviving are her children and their families: daughter, Sharon (Jerome) Hilger of Collinsville, Ill., and their children, Vicki (Scott) Ahlers with their two children, Courtney and Andrew; and Debi (John) McDaniel with their three children, Jacob, Jeremy and Joshua; daughter, Audrey (Mike) Murphy of Maryville, Ill., and their children, Jason Murphy and Patrick Murphy; daughter, Debbie (Tony) Camillo of Collinsville, Ill., and their children, Mandi (Devin) Meier with their two children, Caden and Maci, and J.C. (Fianc Kate Ballinger) Camillo.

Funeral: Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Collinsville, Ill., with Rev. Fred Kraemer officiating. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
