Bluette Joan Marie Sutton, 85 of Collinsville, died at 5:00 a.m. on January 15, 2024 at Barnes Jewish Hospital. She was born December 27, 1938 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois to Agnes and Americus Spiller. She was the 2nd oldest of 5 children.

Joan's favorite pastime was watching St Louis blues hockey with her grandson Juan and rooting for their favorite team together. She loved to go play Glo bingo and was also fond of pinochle. She enjoyed music and her favorite singer was Elvis Presley. She will be truly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her 3 day old son Charles, her mother Agnes Wall, her father Americus Leroy Spiller, grandsons Daniel Bell and Michael Bell, brother Don Spiller, sister Donna Gay, sister Cheryll, nephew Hantz, daughters Laura Walker and Kathleen Bell, as well as several ex-husbands; James Schmutz, Trinidad Lopez, Clyde Merkel, and special friend Ray Lawrence.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughter Anges Hamilton (Danny) of Collinsville, Carole, Jason, Chrissy Bell and Daniel Bell Jr. of Kentucky, grandson Juan Castillo, granddaughter Adriana Castillo, great grandsons Jace & Jax Boyer of Granite City, IL, brother Leroy Spiller, sister Susan Mahann, niece Bonnie Whitley of Houston, TX., daughter Yvette Mitalovich of Godfrey, two other daughters and numerous grandkids.
