TROY- Bobby L. Beckenbach, 70, of Troy, IL, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at his residence.

He was born on March 16, 1948 in East St. Louis, IL to John Robert and Mildred Pauline (Feldpaush) Beckenbach. He married Patricia Ann Noe, she preceded him in death.

He was also preceded in death by his parents.

Bobby is survived by his fiancée, Sharon Jacobs of Troy, IL; and children, Cletus Wayne (Tonia) Smelser of Granite City, IL , Rick (Laura) Smelser of Pontoon Beach, IL, Donna (Al) Tome, of Laverne, AL, Bobbie Lee Thuis of Eldridge, MO, Becky (Shawn) Hines of Granite City, IL, Bria Beckenbach of Troy, IL, D.J. Jenne of Iowa City, IA, Shane Jenne of Ft. Benning, GA, and Amanda (Champion) Goleaner of Pontoon Beach, IL; 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Anthony Beckebach of Zion, IL.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked and retired as a security guard.

VISITATION: A visitation for Bobby will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 10:00 A.M.- 1:00 P.M. at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, IL.

FUNERAL: A funeral service will be held following visitation, at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be at St. John Cemetery in Collinsville, IL.
