Brenda Marie Futch

Brenda Marie Futch, 51, of Granite City, Ill., passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017, at the Evelyn''s House in Creve Coeur, Mo.

She was born on November 3, 1965, in East St. Louis, Ill., the daughter of Dorothy Harrison of Granite City, Ill., and the late Robert Harrison. Also preceding her was her daughter, Michelle Marie Kimble; brother Greg Harrison; her grandparents Roy and Wilma Niemeyer.

Brenda was taking culinary classed at SWIC in Granite City, Ill. Brenda proudly served her country in the U.S. Army.

Brenda is survived by sons C.J. Futch of Granite City, Ill., and Brynden Futch of Lamore, Ca.; sister, Marcia (Dale) Prater Edwardsville, Ill.; former husband, Charles of Granite City, Ill.; nephews, Jacob and James Prater; niece, Amanda Prater; Uncle Jack and Aunt Sandra Niemeyer of Fairview Heights, Ill.

Memorials may be given to Evelyn''s House in Creve Coeur, Mo., or to a local APA. Condolences may be expressed to the family through this online guest book..

Services: Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, Glen Carbon, Ill., with Pastor Mike Knight officiating. Interment with military honors will follow immediately at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates, Glen Carbon, Ill.
