Bruce Steven Bentley, 62, of Collinsville, Ill., born May 24, 1949, in New York City, N.Y., died at 10:05 a.m. Monday, Sept. 5, 2011, at Caseyville Nursing Center, Caseyville, Ill.



Bruce was a long time member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Collinsville, Ill. He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church for the Deaf in St. Louis and a church elder.



He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Sandra, nee Budnick, Bentley.



Surviving are his wife, Karen, nee Lang, Bentley of Collinsville, Ill.; two sisters, Bonnie Snyder and Ellen Congema both from New York; and three nephews and two nieces.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 10, 2011, at the church with Pastor Richard Moody officiating. Burial will be at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
