Calvin B. Adolph Jr., born July 19, 1963 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the son of Capt. and Mrs. Calvin B. Adolph Sr., passed away March 18 ^th at his home in Collinsville, IL.

Calvin was a 1982 graduate of CHS.

Calvin was preceded in death by his father, grandparents Robert & Dorothy Henneberry, Elizabeth Adolph, and father-in-law Stan Truskowski.

He is survived by his wife Cherrie, mother Marilyn Smith, step son William, sisters Susan Heisse, Karen Crane and Carla Smith, all of Collinsville, also nieces Schuyler Tindall, Jordan Crane, Kailey Crane, Kirsten Zimmerman, Karsyn Tindall; nephews Gavin Ipanis and Beau Tindall; brother-in-law Robert Heisse.  Step-brother Carl Smith Jr., step-sisters Lynn Morris and Vickie Cooper.

Calvin is dearly and deeply loved by so many family and friends, especially Jim Sharos and family. Jim was more than a boss to Calvin, more like a father.

Calvin was the best caring, kind hearted, thoughtful, loyal and generous man, always willing to lend a helping hand when it was most needed.  He never had a harsh word for anyone. Calvin was a huge sports fan, he cheered on the Cardinals, the Blues and especially the Rams.  He also was a great concert goer, his 2 favorite bands were Led Zeppelin and Metallica.

Services will be held at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville on March 24, 2021, visitation 10-11 am and funeral 11-12 pm.  Cremation per Calvin's request.

In lieu of all other gifts, if you wish, memorials may be made to help the family care of Cherrie Adolph.
