Carmen H. Tamayo, Age 53, of St. Louis, Missouri, entered into a peaceful rest on September 15, 2024.

She came to the United States of America when she was 18 months old and became a part of Manuel and Jean Tamayo's family.

Carmen met her fiancé Mike Buck in 1989 and nursed him and took care of him until his passing in 2017. During this time of Mike's sickness, she met and joined a bereavement group and held fond friendships up until she passed away. While she was taking care of Mike, she also completed her bachelor's and master's Degrees.

She surrounded her life around her 1 great niece and 2 great nephews.

Carmen is survived by her mother; Jean Tamayo, sister; Chris (Patrick) Collins, nieces; Danielle (Joshua) Castelli and Jacklyn (Taylor) Whipple, nephew; Phillip (Madison) Collins, 3 great nieces; Kylee, Reese and Evelyn, 2 great nephews; JJ and Rowan; best friend; Sheri Flatt.

She was preceded in death by her father; Manuel Tamayo and her beloved fiancé; Mike Buck.
