Carole Lee Perotka

Carole Lee Perotka, 77, of Maryville, Ill., formerly of Caseyville, Ill., born January 7, 1940, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017, in Hillsboro, Ill.

Carole was an active member of the Troy Pentecostal Church and enjoyed animals and gardening.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Zack Vernon Perotka, whom she married December 31, 1966; parents, Elmer Joseph and Blanche Pauline, nee Bilderback, Wilson; grandchild, Todd Zack Perotka II; brothers, Paul Wayne Wilson and Ronald George Wilson.

Carole is survived by her children, Rick (Robin) Heaton of Denham Springs, La., Craig (Katie) Heaton of Collinsville, Ill., Todd (Tonya) Perotka of Tomball Tx., Pamela ( Larry) Schellhardt of Collinsville, Ill., Pauline (Gregg) Pittman of Maryville, Ill.; 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; sister Barbara Hanson; three brothers Larry (Eileen) Wilson, Robert Joseph Wilson and Michael (Alicia) Wilson.

Memorials may be given to Troy Pentecostal Church and can be received at Herr Funeral Home. Condolences to the family may be expressed through this online guestbook.

Visitation: Friends may call 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill.

Service: Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Herr Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Bradshaw officiating. Interment to follow at the Caseyville Cemetery.
