Cecil W. Duncan, 71, of Collinsville, Ill., born Feb. 15, 1942, in Salem, Ky., passed away at 5:55 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2013, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.

Mr. Duncan was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Freman and Roberta, nee Moxley, Duncan; a sister, Pauline Nichols; and a brother, Louis Ray Chittenden.

Surviving are his loving wife of 45 years, Theresa, nee Castrulli, Duncan, whom he married on Feb. 24, 1968, in Brooklyn, N.Y.; his children, Donna (Sam Conder) Duncan of Caseyville, Ill., Wayne (Susan) Duncan of Troy, Ill., Jeannine Duncan of Collinsville, Ill., Victor (Tiffany) Duncan of St. Jacob, Ill., and Joseph (Lauren) Duncan of Naperville, Ill.; six grandchildren, Christopher, Megan, Corey, Matthew, Tavey and Ellise; two sisters, Peggy Reed and Gail Reed; six brothers, Kenneth Duncan, Jimmy Duncan, Billy Duncan, Doug Duncan, Randy Chittenden and Robert Chittenden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
