In loving memory, Charles Aubrey Davidson, 78, of Glen Carbon, Ill., passed away Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013.

Son of the late Aubrey and Edith Davidson, was born on July 17, 1935. A beloved brother he is survived by his four sisters and five brothers.

Charles retired after 19 years of service from Oliver Anderson Hospital. a hard working and humble man who enjoyed the simple things of life, cared for his mother until her passing. Loved baseball, his Ford pick-up truck and country music. He expressed great joy and interest in his family through out his life.

Memorials may be made to the First Church of Christ Scientist in Edwardsville, Ill.

Visitation: Friends may call from 8 to 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Dr., Glen Carbon, Ill.

Funeral: Services will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Belleville, Ill.
