Rich Brown, 62, of Collinsville, Ill., born Dec. 4, 1950, in Paris, Ill., died at 1:40 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.

Rich worked for OHL Logistics for 10 years. He had a great love of flower gardening and birds. He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, Collinsville, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Eugene and Donna, nee White, Brown; and a sister, Janice Brown.

Surviving are his wife, Sharon, nee Horath, Brown of Collinsville, Ill.; a brother, David (Mary) Brown of Collinsville, Ill.; a sister, Carol Brown of Collinsville, Ill.; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Cathy and David Reinacher; special friend, Chris Stephan; niece and nephews, Scott and Kelli Brown of Collinsville, John Reinacher, Jeffrey Brown (Kayla Anderson), and Edie and Corey Frey; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Mackenzie, Jeffrey, Kaylee and Lucas.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at St. John Evangelical United Church of Christ, Collinsville, Ill. with Rev. Tony Minear officiating. Burial will be at Lake View Cemetery, Fairview Heights, Ill.
