Charlet Kathryn Mincke, nee Heitmeyer, 87, of O'Fallon, Ill., born Oct. 14, 1924, in East St. Louis, Ill., died at 8:05 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31, 2011, in Collinsville, Ill.



After her retirement, Charlet loved spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.



She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Emma, nee Billner, Heitmeyer; sister and brother, Josephine Brunworth and Ralph Heitmeyer; and her previous husband, Jennis "Tots" Mincke; and her dear friend, Linda Giddings Bush.



Surviving are her daughters and son, Deborah (Randy) Robbins of Collinsville, Ill, Lori Mincke of Collinsville, Ill., and Craig Mincke of Pontiac, Mo.; grandchildren, Jessa (Dennis) Szakacsi, Jed Robbins and Rachel Robbins; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Belcher and Kadyn Szakacsi.
