Charlotte A Lunsford, 94, of Collinsville, Ill., born July 9, 1922, in Chicago, Ill., passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016, in Collinsville, Ill.

Charlotte was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her dear husband Clayton Lunsford, whom she married in Chicago, Ill., in 1942, and who passed away on January 15, 2002; her parents, Carl and Emmie Mormann; her brother, Carl Mormann; her son in law, Charles Hale; and her daughter in law, Loretta Lunsford.

Surviving are her daughters, Illona Hale of Collinsville, Ill., Esther (Bob) Viravec of Tinley Park, Ill.; her sons, David Lunsford of Orland Park, Ill. and Mahlor "Woody" Lunsford of Orland Hills, Ill.; her brothers, Willard Mormann, Orville Mormann, Melvin Mormann; her sister, Joyce Woodward; her ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren with an expected great-granddaughter due in October.

Memorial contributions may be made to New Life Evangelistic Center, and may be received at the funeral home.

Visitation: Friends may visit the family from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2016, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill.

Funeral: Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2016, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill., with Rev. Roger Wright officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
