Obituary

Christine Roy was born on November 20, 1948 to James Van Sr.
and Alge Johnson in Wabash, Arkansas. She accepted the Lord
at an early age and was baptized.
Christine was hard working, fun, loving and always willing to
help others.
Christine led a Christian Life that was a beacon of light that
inspired other people to be the best person they could be and to
reach out and help others in their time of need.
Christine was like a mother duck she would reach out and help
everyone even if they were not in the duck family. (Smile)
Christine managed what she had and was always willing to
share. She accompolished many great things in her life but most
important she accepted the Lord as her Savior.
Mourning her transition, yet cherishing fond memories of her
are: Her Husband James E. Martin, Children: Betty Roy, Johnny
Roy and Sharon (Demetrious Spencer) Roy. Grand Children-

Anessa Hooker (Jeremiah), Shanise George ( Antonio Greene),
Dyreus Spencer (Sonia), Diamond Spencer.
Great grandchildren- Aaliyah Green, Demetrious Spencer Jr,
Jeremiah Hooker Jr., Jamya Hooker. Siblings; Freddie Lee
Johnson (Cora Mae), Helena, Arkansas, James Van Jr-South
Carolina, Jack Van-California, Joyce Ann ( Glen Rainey),
Augusta, GA, Doris Johnson, Venice, Illinois, Brenda Adams (
Presley), Little Rock, Arkansas, Carolene Alexander (John), St.
Louis, Missouri, Lee Ann Pugh ( Cornelius), Woodbridge,
Virginia, Blanchie Johnson, Lake View, Arkansas. Preceeded
her in death, Chester Lee Johnson, Vandy Lee Johnson, Thelma
Wilborn, Alma Louise Fields, and niece-Cynthia Wilborn.
A host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends; dear friends, Verdia Edwards

and Martha Edwards, Ron MaGee, Mikes Automotive and Steve- The May Tag Repairman.
A special Love for her home care aides Ruby Reyes and Trudy
Lindsey and her Church family-First Baptist Church of
Collinsville.
