Claude W. Caby, 87, of Collinsville, Ill., born Nov. 16, 1923, in Marble Hill, Mo., died Monday, May 2, 2011, at Caseyville Nursing Center, Caseyville, Ill.
Claude retired from McDonnell Douglas in 1984. He was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caseyville, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sherman and Emma, nee Hopkins, Caby; a brother; and six sisters.
Surviving is his wife, Dolores, nee Wendt, Caby of Collinsville, Ill., whom he married on Nov. 6, 1948.
Memorials may be made to St. Stephen Catholic Church, Caseyville, Ill. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.herrfuneral.com
Visitation: Friends may call from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2011, at Herr Funeral Home, Collinsville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2011, at St. Stephen Catholic Church, Caseyville, Ill., with Father Ray Schultz officiating. Burial will be at Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Collinsville, Ill.
