Cleta M. Drummond, nee Cherry, 72, of Collinsville, Ill., born Aug. 5, 1940, in Granite City, Ill., died at 9:20 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, 2012, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Floyd M. "Bud" Drummond, whom she married on Nov. 14, 1970, and who died June 4, 2008; her parents, Cletus and Dorothy, nee Eddington, Cherry; a brother, Edwin K. Cherry; and brother-in-law, Byron Davis.
Surviving are her sisters, Gayle Tegtmeier of Collinsville, Ill., and Anita Davis of Collinsville, Ill.; her stepchildren, John Drummond, Mont Drummond, Roberta Drummond, Beverly (Robert) Jones and Shelley (Ron) Dickerson; special family, Judy Levy; nieces, Julie Angley and Jennifer (Jamie) Opelt; great-niece, Ashley Angley; six step-grandchildren; a step-great-grandchild; two aunts; and many cousins and dear friends.

Funeral: Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, at the funeral home with Father Anthony Clavier officiating. Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
