COLLINSVILLE- Cody J. Harris, 27, of Collinsville, IL, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018 at his residence.

Cody was born on January 26, 1991 in Belleville, IL to James Harris and Sherry (Mosier) Dawdy.

Surviving are his parents, James (Jackie Becker) Harris of Belleville, IL and Sherry (David) Dawdy of Collinsville, IL; siblings, Blake (Beth) Mask and James Bruce Harris III of Belleville, IL; grandmother, Virginia Mosier of Troy, IL, grandfather, Jerry Cline of New Athens, IL, and grandparents, Richard (Carol) Dawdy of Glen Carbon, IL; aunts & uncles, Troy and Laura Grey of Cahokia, IL, Tom and Kelly Stafford of Swansea, IL, and Russell and Leslie Gregory of Florissant, MO; and cousins, Ryan, Josh, Dylan, Kyle, Kevin, Steven, Jay, and Tyler.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Kayla N. Harris in 2007; his grandfathers, Billy Mosier and James Harris; and grandmother, Linda Cline.

Cody attended Collinsville High School. He worked alongside his stepfather at Double D Garage as an auto mechanic. He also worked with his father at Quality Seamless Guttering. Cody loved to spend time with his friends, especially Cassie and her beloved daughters, Lexie and Cammie. Cody will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

VISITATION: A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 6:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M. at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, IL. Cremation rites have been accorded. A private burial will be held at a later date at Sunset Hill Memorial Gardens in Glen Carbon, IL.
