Connie Lynn Meek, 69, of Collinsville, Illinois, passed away on January 31, 2022, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Illinois.

Connie was born November 8, 1952, in Evansville, Indiana, to William Eugene and Anita Lorene (Tennyson) Skelton.  She married Carey Meek and shared 42 years together.

She spent her career working for Target as the charge back processor and was loved by her co-workers and vendors. She was with Target for 40 years before retiring.

Connie loved life, the outdoors, and anything that included water. She especially loved boating and water skiing.  She was a former soccer player and enjoyed the sport as well as the many friends and teammates she met through the years.   Connie also enjoyed gardening, yard work and going to wineries. She enjoyed travel and loved her fur baby, Bobi.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Sandra Hatchett.

Survivors include her husband, Carey Meek of Collinsville, Illinois; her beloved daughter, Teresa Hale of Fairview Heights, Illinois; sister, Deborah Browning and husband Charles of Collinsville, Illinois; niece, Angie Whetham and husband Scott of Union, Illinois; nephews: Ryan Browning of Bellingham, Washington,  Zachary Bilyeau of Fairview Heights, Illinois; 2 great nieces and 3 great nephews. Connie was dearly loved by the Meek family and will be sorely missed.

Cremation has been accorded by Herr Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Collinsville, Illinois.

A celebration of life for Connie will be held at a later announced date.
