Creighton Dale "Gus" Miles, 38, of Collinsville, Ill., born January 6, 1975, in Belleville, Ill., died Sunday, January 13, 2013, at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.

Creighton known by most everyone as "Gus" will be

missed by all who knew him. His bright smile and quick wit will keep his memory alive in our hearts. Gus loved animals especially his four legged companion "Nicky" and worked with stray rescue of St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roger Dale Miles; his paternal grandparents, Wilford and Polly Miles; and his maternal grandmother, Lela Cortez.

Surviving are his mother, Debra Miles of Collinsville, Ill.
