MARYVILLE- Daniel A. Coombs, 50, of Maryville, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 in Madison County.

Dan was born March 5, 1967 in East St. Louis, IL to Daniel J. and Carolyn Wersching Coombs. He married Melissa Cox on June 10, 2000 in Maryville, IL. She survives and resides in Maryville; as well as his two daughters, Chelsea Ferguson of Maryville and Emily Coombs (fianc Jacob Whitaker) of Kansas City, MO; granddaughter, Kaylee and another grandchild, due to arrive in March.

He is also survived by his mother, Carolyn (Ross) Wallace of Valrico, FL; sister, Dawn (Gerry) Lopez of Riverview, FL; and two nephews, Corey Rak of Riverview, FL and Jason Lopez of Hudson, FL.

He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel J. Coombs.

Following high school, Dan enlisted in the United States Army, where he served for 8 years. He was discharged as a Specialist E4.

Dan worked as a manager for MiCloud Enterprises.

VISITATION: A visitation for Dan will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 from 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at Herr Funeral Home in Collinsville, IL.

FUNERAL: A Celebration of Life service will be held following the visitation, at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Cremation rites have been accorded.
