Daniel Joseph Dovers, age 26, of Knoxville, Tennessee, passed away on March 11, 2022.

Born May 10, 1995, in St. Louis, Missouri, he was the son of Jimmy "Jim" D. and Tina S. (nee: Sizemore) Dovers, Jr.

He was an avid outdoorsman, who liked hiking. He also enjoyed cooking and auto mechanics, as well as being a great fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.

He will be remembered for many things, including his infectious smile and the love he had for his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he also is survived by and will be greatly missed by his two brothers: Kyle M. Dovers and Jonathan J. Dovers, both of Knoxville, Tennessee, grandparents: John and Mary Sizemore of Edwardsville, Illinois, Betty Dovers of St. Louis, Missouri, and Jimmie Dovers, Sr. of Bastrop, Texas, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and many friends.

Visitation will be Monday, March 21, 2022, 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Hill Funeral Home, 50 Fountain Drive, Glen Carbon, Illinois, where services honoring Daniel will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ron Shrum officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
