Daniel Scott Friedman, 47, of Granite City, Ill., born Friday, July 7, 1967, in St. Louis, Mo., passed away at 4:15 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at his residence.

Daniel was a business development manager for Worldwide Technology Inc. He was a member of the Grace Church East Campus of Granite City and Metro Community Church in Edwardsville where he was the bass player for both worship teams.

Surviving are his wife, Cheryl "Kelly Corday", nee Lewis, Friedman, whom he married on July 27, 1991; two sons, Daniel Scott Friedman II of Phoenix, Ariz., and Jonathan Michael Friedman of Granite City, Ill.; a daughter, Mary Allison Friedman of Granite City, Ill.; his parents, David and Jane, nee Hanser, Friedman of St. Louis, Mo.; and a brother, Ron (Stacy) Friedman of Arnold, Mo.
