Daniel Edward Wrigley, 57, of Collinsville, Ill., joined his Lord and Saviour on Monday Nov. 2, 2015.
It is hard to summarize such an amazing inspirational individual; however Daniel was a very dedicated family man, patriot, teacher, trusted advisor to many, a mentor, an intellectual, but above all a committed disciple of Jesus Christ. He enjoyed public service and researching and studying American history. He had a very witty sense of humor and was always up for a lively debate. The man never encountered any adversity he wasn't willing to challenge. He was very entrepreneurial earning his law degree from SLU and opening up his own private practice. In addition he was a CPA and in-house counsel, and helped with the daily operations of LW Contractors, Inc.
Daniel was preceded by his parents, Laverne and Joan, nee Nelle, Wrigley.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Linda, nee Adams, Wrigley; stepsons, Jeffrey (Michelle) Stamps of Collinsville, Ill., and Ian (Jodie) Stamps of Hull, Mass.; brothers, Joseph Wrigley of Collinsville, Ill., and Michael of Golden Eagle, Ill.; sister, Barbara Niedt of Denver, Colo.; six nephews, David Lowell, Christopher Wrigley, Kevin Wrigley, Keith Wrigley, and Matthew Wrigley; two nieces, Danielle Wrigley, and Emily Niedt; seven grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
